“Unrequited love”

As the song goes “sometimes love just ain’t enough”. Ain’t enough if the feeling is not mutual. Ain’t enough if it’s unreciprocated. Ain’t enough if something is missing. But why do we still hold on to it?

I can be wrong or I can be right. Two rhetorical questions. You can be wrong if you failed to ask. You can be wrong if you leave it in the past. You can be right if you dare to ask. You can be right if you face it with no questions asked.

Loving someone makes us more human. It teaches us to appreciate more what life can offer. But what if that love was never returned? Will you feel ashamed, depressed, and make you feel that living is worst than best?

We give out love without asking anything in return. We give out love cause it makes us happy. We give out love cause it’s our choice. Feel no regrets in loving someone even if that person never feel the same way you do. If it hurts, then keep a distance. We may feel bad about it but it teaches us that love is not always mutual and shit do happens.

“Infatuation or foolish emotion?”

People always say “you never learn”, but isn’t learning a daily process and part of life?

Sometimes we always confuse emotion with discernment. We fail to wake up from a fantasy and get back to reality. We do it because it what makes us happy. Never knowing it could end up tragically.

As the famous tv series says “ you know nothing”. But how do we know if we don’t try it. Will you give in or just keep the feelings within? Will you confess or just say it in jest? Keep it real or punch a hole in your heart to drill?

Will you be brave enough to utter it out or will you cowardly look down and make a big sigh?

In life, you do different things (even strangest ones) out of curiosity, peer pressure, or lust. We tend to make actions we’re not aware off and do stuffs we never could imagine we can.

We don’t take into consideration the consequences of our own doings. You can say immature, but, hey, who are we or what do we know? Perhaps, do anyone know? We carelessly put words into actions not knowing how it will end.

The only thing that mattered is we can wholeheartedly say we tried and regrets to follow. However, are we prepared of the outcomes? Sometimes yes, but most of the time not.

I guess life is full of mysteries and we are too curious to know everything life has to offer. We forget every actions has consequences. The only thing we fail to realise is the dreadful ending of an unfamiliar beginning.

At the end of the day, it’s you who controls your life and what is happening now is because of what you did yesterday. Be naive or not, be cautious or careless, it matters not now. You just learn to live with it and learned from it.

Life is a choice. Regrets are inevitable. What matters now is we accept the present and move on. Be strong and not haunted by the past. Face the present and live the most out of it.
