Sometimes all we need is rest

Most of us are busy that we forget the most vital part of life that we always neglect and don't give importance to, which is to REST. A four letter word that keeps us intact and give us energy when we need to push through. A simple term but when taken and absorbed, allows us to think and ease all our worries.

If you feel you're on the verge of giving up, then lie down and rest. If you feel you're taking actions you're not aware of anymore, then sit back and rest. If you feel you're all alone and the world gave up on you, then, clear your mind and rest. If you feel like giving up and life doesn't give you the satisfaction you want, then close your eyes and rest. If you feel like you're about to do evil on other people or all you do is makes you the bad person, then think, and rest.

People say that sleeping is the best way to rest. Thus, we fail to realize that we don't have control or we never really get the full meaning of rest just by sleeping per se. If you're having second thoughts, feeling uncomfortable, or worst case being depressed, then all we need is to clear our minds and thoughts.

It matters not from what generation we came from. It matters not what age group we belong to. It's no longer relevant what status in life we have. The stress, depression, and problem is always there but it may come in different ways. So the best thing to do is not to act on it. Just make yourself at ease, remove all your burdens at the time being, and most importantly, communicate to the Almighty One.

Rest is always there. It's free and it's something we can always count on. It also comes in different means. It could be a person, it could be a place, or it could be a happy memory. Take one if you need to. Take one if you have to. You just have to take one.

At Peace In Love But Not Crazy In Love

Falling in love doesn't mean you need to also let all your emotions and sanity fall. You may not have control on who'm you'll be attached to since it's a strong burst of emotion that just pops once you're at that point. However, we can still control on how it will turn out and if still worth to continue.

Being observant should be the first thing you need to consider if you know you're going to a different path which was not planned in the first place. Being cautious gives you time to think if it's still the right way or it's leading to a perilous, bizarre, and point of no return space-time continuum.

Just because the situation requires you to act doesn't mean you just need to follow and don't have a way to stop. We are what we do and we do what we feel. Hence, let's not get our own feelings be overthrown and be disregarded just because others wants us or demands us to feel the same way. Don't let your emotions to someone control you, rather, treat it as sign or a test and don't give in to something you are not and don't define you.

If life still doesn't teaches you, then be the person to teach yourself instead. If you still don't learn from the hard way, then be the way and make it harder so you learn in a rock solid I don't give an f way. If loving someone causes you to alienate, then better think twice and don't be afraid to estimate. Indeed we need to live our lives to the fullest but not to the point of being crazy, foolish, and make you less and not be your best.

What if we take it slow and keep it low?

In this fast-paced environment, what if we just take it slow? Making one move and one step at a time. Creating simple moments for every single occasion. Sometimes we never lose control of our goals and ourselves if we just chill out and won’t make decisions abruptly.

In a world full of expectations and indefinite reality, what if we just lay-low and contemplate? In this era of ever changing and instant happenings, living and enjoying every moments give us more satisfaction instead of following the new trends.

We could also take a pinch of privacy. Relish the peaceful and anonymity of life. Not everything should be tell and sell cause there’s a possibility it will fell and tear in the end. I’m not saying being famous and loud is bad, but what if we learn to keep some parts of us hidden? Hidden from demeanors mocking. Hidden from the public eyes that judge us even when there’s none to hunch and away from a bunch of mutts.

Let’s settle and live a life with no worries. Let’s give time a break and be discreet of our personal matters. Waiting won’t hurt and concealing won’t be a target for someone who’s only intention is to lurk.

Lie low and hold back

If you feel you’re making an impression of overdoing things or feeling clingy, then please stop. It you feel you’re going overboard to the person’s life, then please stop. If you feel you make him/her uncomfortable, then please stop.

Stop doesn’t mean you want to let go. Stop means you need to set boundaries and make that person feel you don’t overstep on his/her privacy. Stop is keeping you away from being obsessed and have a good discernment. Stop is to not make that person feel he/she is okay with his/her comfort zone.

Yes we can give and do so much when we’re in love or cared a lot to a person. However, we should also make sure we’re not making the person feel unease and agitated. It’s okay to care, to be jealous, to wonder, and to be curious. But we should also think of ourselves and be mindful of our own lives. Let’s not make it a habit of being crazy and make our world just revolve around a specific person’s life.

We have our own lives. We have our own circle. So if you think you’re overstepping, take a step back, ponder, lay low, and hold back.

Why?

Why do people lie? Is it to make them feel loved and important? Is it peer pressure? Was it out of curiosity? Or was it because that’s your personality? Your personality of being selfish and foolish?

Little do we know that creating a false statement may create a big effect on other’s lives. We may not see it or hear it but who we are to make someone’s life in despair.

If we keep it real and simple at the beginning, would you think the other side will still be as caring and hopeful? You may not ruin your own feelings but I assure you it belittle the other person and make them feel unease along the way.

Why mess with someone so kind and generous to you? Why need to use them? Is it for the sake of feeling important and have a story to tell which adds to your numerous lies?

Just tell me why?

Patience is indeed a virtue...

They say love comes in mysterious ways. Sometimes it happens without us knowing. Sometimes it’s a product of silly conversation. It’s a sudden emotion which fluctuates easily and hits you deeply.

When you fall in love with someone, we tend to forget who we really are and what we really are. Love is not a one sided emotion. Love should always be mutual. You don’t demand love to come to you, instead, it should be wholeheartedly be given back to you.

Finding the right person ain’t easy. It takes time, effort, and even courage for it to show. It could just be there right in front of you but may end up bizarrely when taken out of context.

We say love makes us happy. It creates an ecstatic feeling where we enter a fantasy. A dream like state of mind and forget the lucidity of the situation. In short, it makes us insane and fragile. Fragile and susceptible of being hurt and be fooled. It covers and alleviate our pains and sufferings for a short period of time. Another mechanism that allows us to escape from reality.

Love is a give and take relationship. We may not receive what we gave instantly but who knows, it only takes tad bit more time. You don’t rush someone to love you back. You teach them why they should feel the same way you do. You give them time to contemplate on why they should also do the same to you. The question you should ask now is not why, but how?

The answer is simple, you give time. You give time allow them to know you more. You give time for them to explore who you really are and if your intention is sincere and true. A relationship cultivated by time and effort is like a tall sturdy building where it’s hard to be penetrated by outside world’s negativity and can’t easily climbed by an opportunistic lunatic.

Invest in time and not just pure emotion so you can harvest a meaningful, fruitful, and infinite two sided relationship where you can both benefit from a more positive inspiration.

“Unrequited love”

As the song goes “sometimes love just ain’t enough”. Ain’t enough if the feeling is not mutual. Ain’t enough if it’s unreciprocated. Ain’t enough if something is missing. But why do we still hold on to it?

I can be wrong or I can be right. Two rhetorical questions. You can be wrong if you failed to ask. You can be wrong if you leave it in the past. You can be right if you dare to ask. You can be right if you face it with no questions asked.

Loving someone makes us more human. It teaches us to appreciate more what life can offer. But what if that love was never returned? Will you feel ashamed, depressed, and make you feel that living is worst than best?

We give out love without asking anything in return. We give out love cause it makes us happy. We give out love cause it’s our choice. Feel no regrets in loving someone even if that person never feel the same way you do. If it hurts, then keep a distance. We may feel bad about it but it teaches us that love is not always mutual and shit do happens.

“Infatuation or foolish emotion?”

People always say “you never learn”, but isn’t learning a daily process and part of life?

Sometimes we always confuse emotion with discernment. We fail to wake up from a fantasy and get back to reality. We do it because it what makes us happy. Never knowing it could end up tragically.

As the famous tv series says “ you know nothing”. But how do we know if we don’t try it. Will you give in or just keep the feelings within? Will you confess or just say it in jest? Keep it real or punch a hole in your heart to drill?

Will you be brave enough to utter it out or will you cowardly look down and make a big sigh?

“You reap what you sow”

In life, you do different things (even strangest ones) out of curiosity, peer pressure, or lust. We tend to make actions we’re not aware off and do stuffs we never could imagine we can.

We don’t take into consideration the consequences of our own doings. You can say immature, but, hey, who are we or what do we know? Perhaps, do anyone know? We carelessly put words into actions not knowing how it will end.

The only thing that mattered is we can wholeheartedly say we tried and regrets to follow. However, are we prepared of the outcomes? Sometimes yes, but most of the time not.

I guess life is full of mysteries and we are too curious to know everything life has to offer. We forget every actions has consequences. The only thing we fail to realise is the dreadful ending of an unfamiliar beginning.

At the end of the day, it’s you who controls your life and what is happening now is because of what you did yesterday. Be naive or not, be cautious or careless, it matters not now. You just learn to live with it and learned from it.

Life is a choice. Regrets are inevitable. What matters now is we accept the present and move on. Be strong and not haunted by the past. Face the present and live the most out of it.

You Only Live Once (YOLO)

I just woke up from a very long fantasy or you may call it insanity. My entire life, I never stopped searching for the one that I'll truly love and who'll do the same for me. I guess when reality bit you, you suddenly get back to your sane state of  mind.

I've wasted so much time finding the right person. On that period of time, I was rejected and got my heart pierced and even stabbed multiple times. It's time to set that lunatic part of me aside and focus more on myself and on my career.

As they say, life is too short. We should live it to the fullest. If not meant for you then move on. There are so much things in life that we can appreciate. We just need to unravel and make the best out of them.

We only live once, so we better spend it to the things that will make us happy and will make our life not miserable but more meaningful.
